Sanctified[edit]
When wearing a sanctified armor you treat hellfire damage as regular fire damage, vile damage as normal damage, divine and unholy damage as regular damage. By example a flame strike spell dealing only fire damage instead of mixed fire and divine damage.
In additions, while wearing sanctified armor you are protected from effect which would move your soul, such as magic jar. This protection allow you to roll twice, taking the best result.
A sanctified shield instead grant resistance to divine, hellfire, unholy and vile damage. The resistance depend on the shield size, a buckler grant resistance 1, a light shield 3, a heavy shield 6 and a tower shield 9.
If you wear both a sanctified armor and shield, apply the resistance before converting the damage to it normal type, adding both any innate resistance and the resistance granted by your shield. By example both the resistance bonus of your shield and any fire resistance you have would apply to hellfire.
An evil creature find sanctified armor to be uncomfortable, double it Armor Check Penalty and decrease it max Dexterity by 1. After spending 8 hours in Santified Armor they automatically become fatigued.
