"She raised her hands and the air around her shimmered, the arrows aimed at her were deflected aside or struck her ineffectively."
This spell create a invisible barrier around the caster, granting her a +4 Shield Bonus to AC and 2 temporary hit points per caster level, which do not stack with other sources. She regain those temporary hit point at the end of each round she concentrate on this spell. If the temporary hit points are depleted, you lose the shield bonus to AC granted by this spell and the spell end.
If you concentrate on this spell with anything but a standard action, the amount of temporary hit point gained is halved.
