Skill Before Grit
You have a lot of skill points at the cost of combat effectiveness.
Benefit: You get +2 skill per point per level and an extra 6 at 1st level.
Drawback: You take a −1 penalty on attack, damage rolls, caster levels (minimum 1) and DCs.
Roleplaying Ideas: You're a crafty sort who likes to solve problems with knack rather than muscle. Why beat up the guards when you can sneak by, employ diplomacy, or do anything else that isn't swinging a sword? You've not put much time into that, after all.
