The ground rose up, forming a wall on one side and a great ramp on the other.
You form a great slope of land, one side effectively a wall 5 ft high and up to 5 ft/level wide. You can decrease the width by 5 ft to increase the height by 5 ft. For example CL 12 has a 60 ft wide slope 5 ft high, and by cutting it down to to a 10 ft wide slope it can become 55 ft high.
The sloped side is a 45 degree steep slope that extends a distance away from the top of the slope equal to the slope's height (minimum 5 ft). For example a 55 ft high slope has a incline extending out to 55 ft. A steep slope reduces speeds in half moving up it. Alternatively you can have a more gentle slope at 20 degrees which does not affect movement, with the distance away from the top of the slope equal to twice the slope's height.
If cast in a spell slot two levels higher, the effect is instantaneous.
