Obsession I: Necrons
'''Note to Self:''' Don't forget your ''[[User:Techpriest88/Canvas2|secret project]]''.
==Obsession I: NecronsUnnamed==The only precident Well, Ihaven've seen for anything in this direction is the Dark Pharaoh from Open Grave, a blending of Eidolon and Mummy. Necrons would also be considered both constructs and undead, in my opinion, and the process for creating them was very similar to that stated for the Pharaoh. For those of you unfamiliar t quite come up with them, Necrons are a race from the Warhammer40k franchise. They were once technologically advanced mortals called the Necrontyr. Suffering from short lifespans at the hands of their unstable star, they pushed science to its limits in the attempt to save themselves from their plight. Eventually they discovered powerful cosmic entities they termed C'tan, or "star gods". They made contact with thses beings by forging bodies out of a kind of "living metal" called necrodermis and drawing the essence of the C'tan into them. The C'tan became, name for all intents and purposes, their gods. They enslaved the Necrontyr and convinced them to bind their own souls into bodies forged from necrodermis, finally ridding them of their frail bodies, short lives... and free will. They became the Necrons, unliving warriors of the C'tan forevermore, their senses and intellects dulled within their new prisons. I'll need to review their stats and abilities in WH40k before doing much of anything, as this is essentially a conversion/adaptation for the D&D 4e system. I wouldn't want to stray too far from the original... just yetStill brainstorming.
