:Think for a moment like a person inside the D&D world. People will want permanent protections for their homes.
:Astral Barrier (the name of the spell is not important) is permanent. It prevents teleportation and creates a barrier along the building in the Ethereal and Shadow planes. It cannot be dispelled - at least not outside the building.
:It is not a high level spell. A traveling priest, cleric, wizard, etc. are able to perform this ritual/spell for every home in even the poorest village.
:In contrast to ''[[SRD:Dimensional Lock|dimensional lock]]'' the house needs to be constructed in a special way to hold this spell. It cannot be applied after the fact. [[User:Myrkraverk|Myrkraverk]] 10:55, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
