====Alternate Balance Category Names====
At one point these article balance categories were named for classes. Low used to be called Monk, Moderate was Fighter, High was Rogue, and Very High was Wizard. These terms are no longer used in general, but may still be present in some older comments.

====Scaling Feat Balance====
This wiki supports Scaling Feats, a genre of feat that is intended to replace feat chains and is substantially more powerful than their standalone counterparts. We balance these feats in a method similar to the way we balance classes, according to their individual abilities instead of the sum of their abilities. Because of this, a Moderate balance scaling feat is probably not appropriate in Moderate balance games that do not primarily use scaling feats. In general, a scaling feat is roughly equivalent to a standalone feat one balance higher. As a result, you should be able to use Moderate balance scaling feats in place of High balance standalone feats, and High balance scaling feats in place of Very High stand alone feats.
