=== Expanded Variant Paladins ===
[[Summary::Why should the extremes get all the fun? Introducing paladins for LN, NG, CN, NE, and NETN.]]
'''Class:''' [[Class::Paladin]]
A paladin of light must choose between gaining the lawful-themed powers of the paladin of honor, or the chaos themed powers of the paladin of freedom. Once chosen, this decision cannot be changed.

==Paladin of Balance==

The paladin of balance seeks to moderate all things. Good cannot exist without evil, evil without good, and those things which threaten the balance of what is threaten the world. A paladin of balance does not object to acts of good or evil, law or chaos, only the excess of it. Druids understand paladins of balance the best, as do some monks for their Zen-like mindset.

He can choose to gain powers akin to either honor, freedom, tyranny, or slaughter. Once chosen this choice cannot be changed. After such, he gains the powers of them with the following exceptions.

Any aligned spells are removed from the spell list, and replaced with spells which oppose only the extremes of alignment (LG, LE, CG, and CE). Likewise, his smite attacks now focus on striking at the extremes of alignment.
'''Benefit:''' These variants allow for those adhering to other alignments other than LG, LE, CG, and CE.
