In combat, [[SRD5:Character|character]]s and [[SRD5:Monster|monster]]s are in constant motion, often using movement and position to gain the upper hand.
A creature can squeeze through a space that is large enough for a creature one size smaller than it. Thus, a Large creature can squeeze through a passage that’s only 5 feet wide. While squeezing through a space, a creature must spend 1 extra foot for every foot it moves there, and it has [[SRD5:Disadvantage|disadvantage]] on [[SRD5:Attack Roll|attack roll]]s and [[SRD5:Dexterity|Dexterity]] [[SRD5:Saving Throw|saving throw]]s. Attack rolls against the creature have [[SRD5:Advantage|advantage]] while it’s in the smaller space.
