|benefit= A loner ranger works alone without a companion. A loner ranger gains proficiency with medium armor that is made of hide or is chain mail and can use all ranger abilities in said medium armor.
The ranger also moves 15 feet faster then normal whether they are in light or the listed medium armor.
The ranger also gains intimidate as a class skill.
At level 16 the ranger may move through thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that are enchanted or magically manipulated to impede motion without taking damage or suffering any other impairment.
At level 18 a ranger’s aptitude in their chosen combat style (archery or two-weapon combat) improves again. If they selected archery at 2nd level, they are treated as having the shot on the run feat, even if they do not have the normal prerequisites for that feat. If the ranger selected two-weapon combat at 2nd level, they are treated as having the spring attack feat, even if they do not have the normal prerequisites for that feat.
As before, the benefits of the ranger’s chosen style apply only when they wear medium, light or no armor. They lose all benefits of the combat style when wearing non listed armor.  At level 19 18 the ranger may move no longer takes takes –10 penalty (instead of the normal –20) when moving at up to twice normal speed while tracking.
At level 19 when moving at a speed greater than one-half but less than your normal speed, you no longer take a –5 penalty. When attacking, running or charging you take a -10 penalty instead of –20 penalty.
