|benefit=Upon taking this feat choose a weapon, you gain a +1 attack bonus and +2 damage bonus when using that weapon. Additionally when using that weapon you treat your Base Attack Bonus as 1/3rd of your character level higher (rounded up), to a maximum of your character level. If you base attack bonus is already equal to your character level you instead gain an additional +1 bonus to attack roll and +2 bonus to damage roll.
|example=A 9th Cleric with Weapon Expertise (Heavy Mace) would uuse use her Heavy Mace as a character with Bab +9, in addition to the +1 bonus to attack and +2 damage to damage granted by this feat
