|benefit=Through an hideous graft or a forbidden occult ritual, you fused a [[SRD:Fiendish Snake, Small Viper|Fiendish Small Viper]] with one of your arm. As a move action you may retract or manifest the viper, still attached to your arm. While manifested you gain a viper bite one-handed [[Feral Strike (3.5e Variant Rule)|feral strike]] dealing 1d4 piercing damages, having reach and being to threaten adjacent opponents and delivering the poison of a [[SRD:Fiendish Snake, Small Viper|Fiendish Small Viper]]. The DC of the poison is 10 +half your hit dice + your [[Constitution]] modifier.
If you die, the [[SRD:Fiendish Snake, Small Viper|Fiendish Small Viper]] is freed and attack the creature that attacked you last or flee if it unable to determine which did or if it successfully slays it. The viper may be used as your body for the purpose of [[SRD:Resurrection|''resurrection'']] spells. If you are raised from the dead without the viper, you must wait 1 week before being able to use it as you 'regrow' it.
