== Entropy ==
Entropy is a form of energy created by the passage of time; The the natural decay of all things that occurs all around us. Some beings - Entropomancers and [[Entropic Wanderer (3.5e Prestige Class) | Entropic Wanderers]], most notably - Can can utilize this form of energy in their attacks.
Entropy damage (Usually usually expressed in d4s, much like Force damage) is rather different from other kinds of damage. Only ageless creatures (Such such as some outsiders) are immune to it, and even undead and constructs take damage from it normally, as time eventually turns bone and steel to dust all the same. Creatures who are exceptionally long-lived - Such such as dragons - Are are treated as having Energy Resistance against Entropy equal to their Constitution modifier.
Entropy is very difficult to heal; And , and heals very slowly compared to other kinds of damage. Natural healing only repairs damage caused by entropy as at half the normal rate, and healing magic must work twice as hard to restore those withered by Entropy - Each each point of Entropy damage takes 2 points of magical healing to cure.
Entropy interacts with [[Time (3.5e Descriptor)|time magic]]; Any any creature under the effects of ''Haste'' or similar magic take an additional 50% damage from Entropy attacks, as the decay is accelerated further by the Haste. Likewise, ''Slowed'' creatures only take half damage from Entropy, as the magic reduces the effectiveness of the decay.
Often, Entropy spells and effects cause targets to age 1 year for every 5 points of Entropy damage dealt, though this is not always the case. Creatures killed by Entropy damage tend to be reduced to a fine powder and are treated as if they had died of old age.
