The spell's descriptor must match the elemental [air, water, earth] or energy descriptor [acid, cold, electricity, fire] of at least one of the blasts associated with the infusion, if any. Alternatively you may apply the chosen infusion without increasing the spell level, by paying spellburn equal to the infusion's level.
