The wearer of an iceguard armor can move at full speed on ice without needing to make a [[SRD:Balance Skill|balance]] check.
An enhanced shield grants cold resistance 3, which increases to 6 when fighting defensively or using the total defense action. The resistance granted by an iceguard armor and shield stacks.
