|rules=You instinctively animate one Large or smaller corpse that you can see within range for the duration of the spell, interposing it between yourself and incoming harm. The corpse moves up to 30ft to any unoccupied space of your choice within 5ft of you.
While the corpse remains animated, each time you are targeted by an attack from an attacker you can see, or forced to make a Strength or Dexterity saving throw by a source you can see (Including against the attack or save that triggered the spell), you may roll 1d4, and add the number rolled as a bonus to either the result of that saving throw, or to your AC against that attack.
|higherlevels=When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the die you roll improves - You may add 1d6 to your AC and relevant saves if cast with a 2nd-level slot, 1d8 for a 3rd-level slot, 1d10 for a 4th-level slot, or 1d12 for a slot of 5th level or higher.
