All creatures caught in the emanation take 2d10 cold damage per point of invested essentia and are immobilized for 1 round; a successful Reflex save (DC calculated as normal for soulmelds) halves the damage and negates the immobilization. Any creature that fails its Reflex save is struck by the attack again on the following round(though you must use a standard action to continue), and the process continues until a Reflex save is successful, the victim is dead, or 5 rounds have passed since you began the attack, or you have neglected to continue it. You may not use Snow Spiral again while even one creature is still suffering from its effects.
