36 points is surprisingly low, but it may be fine if the effect is focused on its limb removing abilities. Thing is, the "localized damage" bit is not well explained, so I don't know if this is practically vorpal or a maybe-the-DM-will-be-nice deal. -- Eiji-kun 15:38, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

For the record, there are PLENTY of spells in the Players guide whos explanations are more than 1-2 sentences. Just saying. Second the disc can act as a vorpal weapon in theory, but if you tried to use it in such a manner I think that would fall under making a called shot. I believe that is explained in the DMG.
