Trading Permanent Invocations?

Since warlocks can trade out an invocation known for another at every level where they gain new invocations, would trading out an invocation that you currently have on your character as a permanent effect (such as the skill bonuses from Beguiling Influence) for a different invocation still let you keep the permanent effect? A literal reading of the feat makes me think you could, but that seems like an easy way to stack up passive buffs. On the other hand, none of the 24 hour passive abilities are all that game-breaking, so maybe it's not a huge deal. Spanambula (talk) 13:15, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
