What is the smallest possible way?

If the universe contains no random elements, and doesn't have some weird force that exists only to nudge things back towards an "ideal timeline", then you get "A Sound of Thunder". If it does contain random elements, does "the smallest possible way" mean that luck itself strives to cancel out any contributions time travelers try to make? --Foxwarrior (talk) 04:34, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Time travel is a difficult thing to do, and as a general rule its best not to touch it. If you do, perhaps you may want to draw inspiration from my temporal adept class which has time traveling as a capstone. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 05:04, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
