I Think You Cured the D&D Cancer[edit]

I have been looking forever for a way to rip alignments out of D&D wothout fucking up the whole spell system, and you may have just found a way. Do you think that your Honor system can be modified to an alignment scale, maybe making untrustworthy characters Evil or Chaotic for spell purposes, honorless characters Chaotic and Evil, then reverse it for high honor characters?

Then again, you might have a better way of going about it.--Change=Chaos. Period. SC 23:02, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

I totally wrote something for this but I guess the wiki didn't say it. Anyways, in the two systems I based this off of, Alignments were thrown into it. Lawful good was the Unfreakin believable's alignment, and chaotic evil was the alignment of dishonorable/honorless character. It sort of went from there (In that system, law was favored over good, so lawful neutral got a higher spot then neutral good, and lawful evil was the most honorable of all of them).
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that it would work, and I don't have a better way, so go right ahead. In fact, you bring up a point about spells that attack alignments that I'll have to add a new section to the page to talk about that. The only major kink in the honor system, as far as a more standard DnD games goes, is that most of those characters don't give a crap about honor, except maybe like the paladin and knight and possibly samurai. But if you changed the terms to be alignments instead of honor, with characters gaining points and losing them for good and evil acts respectively, the only problem would be defining good and evil acts. Other then that, it should work out pretty well. --Azya 01:09, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
