Using This Template

This template is to be used for races, generating text that details the benefits and penalties of the given race's size.

To use, copy the following:

Replace the text "size" with the race's size category (fine, diminutive, tiny, small, medium, large, huge, gargantuan or colossal) then replace "race" with the name of the race (in lower-case).

Example:

{{3.5e Racial Size|small|jaguaro}}

This generates the text:

Small: As a Small creature, a jaguaro gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –4 size penalty on special attack (bull rushes, grapples, overruns, and trips) checks, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but it uses smaller weapons than humans use, and its lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.

Optional Parameters

If you don't want the rule to be gender neutral, use the optional parameters |gender= and |genderPossession=. For males, it would be "he" and "his". For female, it'd be "she" and "her". These should go after the first two parameters.

Example:

This generates the text:

Large: As a Large creature, a trollborn takes a -1 size penalty to Armor Class, a -1 size penalty on attack rolls, a +4 size bonus on special attack (bull rushes, grapples, overruns, and trips) checks, and a -4 size penalty on Hide checks, but she uses larger weapons than humans use, and her lifting and carrying limits are twice of those of a Medium character. They have a space and reach of 10 feet.
