Upon manifesting this power, you call upon the Logic of Reality, causing a surge of paradox dooming time travelers and petty meddlers.
You may manifest this power when a creature attempts to do any of the following actions within long range of you:
- Use an immediate or free action during your turn or has one or more contingencies activated.
- Attempt to use a power or spell that alters time (such as time hop or time stop) or attempt to travel through time using an ability or a minor artifact.
In the first case the ability fails to produce any result; all resources expended during the attempt are still consumed. Furthermore, until the end of the turn, any contingencies or immediate actions fail to produce any result; in the case of contingencies, they are automatically expended and lost. Creatures designed as allies may still act normally and their own contingencies are not affected by temporal denial.
In the second case, the ability simply fail to work; instead, the caster (or ability user) takes 15d8+15 damage from the surge of paradox coming from their failed attempt and must make a Will save or become dazed for 1 round. The instability brought by this power makes it impossible for allies and foes alike to do any temporal alterations for 1 round.
