1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
The Teutonic Estoc is also called "Smax": as this last name suggest, the weapon is hybrid weapon between a sword,a mace and an axe: in its mor common design, it is is basically a Bastard Sword with a pommel shaped as mace or morning star head and a metal bar of the guard shaped like an axe-like blade.
The Teutonic Estoc is a specialized anti-armor sword, designed for fighting against a heavy armored opponent on the battlefield or in a judicial combat.
this weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack rolls against opponents wearing medium armors or heavy armors.
A Teutonic Estoc is too large to use in one hand without special training; thus, it is an exotic weapon. If the wielder has Exotic Weapon Proficiency and a Strength score of at least 13, it is possible to wield a Teutonic Estoc in one hand with a -1 penalty to attack rolls.
Characters without the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat can use Teutonic Estoc two-handed as a martial weapon, without penalty on attack rolls but with a 25% chance of hitting themselves with the blade whenever they try to use it in combat, due to the weird weight displacement and the very pointy and dangerous parts of the weapon.
If characters without proficiency with the Teutonic Estoc tries to use it one-handed, they receive a -6 penalty to attack rolls and in addition they have a 75% chance of hitting themselves with the blade whenever they try to use it in combat.
A Teutonic Estoc counts as a Bastard sword or a Heavy Mace or a Battleaxe for the purpose of any of the following feats: Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, Weapon Focus, and Weapon Specialization: if a character has any of these feats on the Bastard sword, the Heavy Mace and the Battleaxe , the bonuses of the feats from the three last weapons are not cumulative within the Teutonic Estoc.
