Tovish Slithsilver

Though it first appears to be liquid silver, its consistency is that of a dense slime. It floats through the air in bubbles, seemingly having no weight, and easily binds to weapons.

The byproduct of the death of "ceiling knights", this alien material seems to impart their reach extending abilities to the user's weaponry. Care must be taken in collecting and storing as the material defies gravity and slowly falls upward, though not at the rate a ceiling knight would. Efforts to collect it in massive amounts fail as in large amounts the material begins to destabilize and vanish, so they are stored in individual vials.

When applied to a weapon, the weapon binds with the slithsilver and grants the "project limb" ability of the ceiling knight. However it is the weapon, not the limb, that is extending (though in theory it can be used on unarmed strikes, and the experience is described as unnerving).

Project Limb (Ex): As a standard action the user may attack up to 30 ft away (or 35 ft with a reach weapon, assuming a Medium attacker). It counts as a charge attack, including the attack bonus and AC penalty, though you do not actually move and do not provoke attacks of opportunity for their weapon passing through a space. Recoiling the weapon takes a moment and so you lose the ability to make attacks of opportunity or threaten for 1 round.

This effect lasts for 10 minutes before the slithsilver boils away into nothingness. It is not a substance that can be crafted, but has a market price for the purpose of selling harvested slithsilver.
