These ornamental eggs seems fragile, but they are actually quite durable. Yet it shatters under the slightest pressure from those intent on breaking it.
A pair of eggs which are invulnerable to damage as if they were force effects (though effects which destroy force still function), yet crumble easily when someone with intent to break them does so (a standard action). Breaking one egg breaks the other egg as well, no matter the distance or even the plane, making it a crude binary method of communication.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, telepathic bond.
