Unspoken Mind[edit]

Those who practiced truenaming rarely seek another path, being able to channel the very fabric of the uniform by speaking a word is a truly euphoric power. However some truenamers, those with psionic potential, understanding that speaking the word is but an additional step. Those truenamers become Unspoken Mind, powerful truenames and psionics who are able to unleash their utterance without a syllable spoken.

Becoming a Unspoken Mind[edit]

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Unspoken Mind.

Utterance: At each level, you gain new utterances known per day, maximum utterance known, and an increase in caster level as if you had also gained a level in a truespeaking class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one truespeaking class before becoming a Unspoken Mind, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining utterances known, caster level, and maximum utterance known.

Bonus Power Points: At each level, the Unspoken Mind receive a number of power points that she add to her currently existing power point pool. The pool function as if taking level in a psionic class. Her levels in Unspoken Mind also advance her manifester level. If she did not previously gain power points based on her ability scores she now do.

Access Psionic Utterance: An Unspoken Mind now gain access to powerful utterance that also require power points to manifest, she may select them instead of normal utterance when leveling. She must still qualify for them as normal. The list of Psionic Utterance is seen below.

A Psionic Utterance act as a a normal utterance but require the Unspoken Mind to pay a number of power point on it as if it was a power of equivalent level.

Truenamer Advancement (Ex): An Unspoken Mind level add her class level to her Truenamer level for the purpose for the purpose of determining Knowledge Focus and Expanded Truespeech.

Unspoken Word (Ex): An Unspoken Mind no longer need to speak a truename for the universe to understand, she just need to think it loud enough. At her option, as long as she is psionically focused, she may replace the 'Vocal' Component of her utterance with a 'Thought' Component (see the rules on psychic magic). She still require a truespeech check as normal.

She may also use Intelligence instead of Wisdom on Autohypnosis check.

Echoing Concussion (Su): At 2nd level the Unspoken Mind can use any weapon made of Deep Crystal to deliver a powerful shockwave by vibrating truespeech within them. As an attack action, the Unspoken Mind may deal 1d10 + her Intelligence modifier in damage with a ranged touch attack within 60 feet. She require a Deep Crystal weapon and the shock wave carry the same enhancement as those placed on the weapon.

Bonus Power: At 3rd level and each odd levels thereafter, an unspoken mind gain a single bonus psionic power. It may be from any list as if she was using the Expanded Knowledge feat to get it.

Psionic Echoes (Su): Whenever a Unspoken Mind of 3rd level or higher manifest a power, she may make a truespeech check with a DC equal to 10 + the power points she spent on it, if she succeed the power is repeated at the start of her next turn. The power must have the same targets and do not affect them if they moved beyond it allowable range or are otherwise made ineligible target. If the power affected an area it must affect the same area as well. This ability may be used a number of time per day equal to 1 + half of the Unspoken Mind's Intelligence modifier.

If she beat the DC by 10 or more she may select a new target, targets or area instead of using the original's.

Psionic Word (Su): A 4th level Unspoken Mind gain Psionic Word as a bonus feat.

Automatic Spelling (Ex): A 5th level Unspoken Mind is able to expedite her utterance by expending her psionic focus and spending a number of power points equal to twice the utterance level she may use it as a swift action. The original utterance must take a 1 round or less to utter normally to be affected by Automatic Spelling.

Mental Bastion (Ex): At 7th level, the Unspoken Word protect her mind with both various psionic wards and truespeech traps, she may roll her Will save against [mind-affecting], divination and possession effects twice, taking the best result.

If a creature attempt to take possession of her, such as with mind switch or magic jar and the Unspoken mind succeed her saving throw, she may trap them inside her own mind as an immediate action. The caster is treated as if they succeeded the spell except that the Unspoken Mind isn't affected, leaving the caster helpless for the duration of the effect. The Unspoken Mind may release the mental prisoner as a standard action.

Psychic Harmony (Ex): An 8th level Unspoken Mind's link with the universe has granted her a nigh limitless, but limited pool of power points. She gain Eternal Mindspirng of the Psionic Mind as a bonus feat, except this minimum pool is equal to half her character level.

Primal Clarity: At 10th level an Unspoken Mind may use a Primal Utterance by expending her psionic focus. Doing so 'burn' the utterance for the day as normal.

Psionic Utterances[edit]

Truespeak DC: 20

This utterance allow to create a wall of psionic energy, barring your foe and stopping their attacks. The barrier is 50 ft high and 50 ft wide, it can traverse solid object without interruption or damaging them. The barrier has an AC of 15, possess 10 hit point per level and prevent the passage of you foes, including ethereal or incorporeal foe. As a free action you may designate any amount of creatures to be able to pass and through the barrier with no penalty but it still block their attacks.

If the barrier's hit points are depleted the effect immediately end.

Reverse: Instead of the normal effect you instead dispel any wall or barrier effect as the dispel magic spell.

Failure: On a failed truespeak check, the barrier is 10 ft high and 10 ft wide.

Augmentation: For each +5 you add to the truespeech check you may increase the size of the barrier (both high and wide) by 10 ft.

Primal Utterance[edit]

Normal: The barrier now span up to 1 mile per level and it hit points increase to 100 per level.

Reversed: The utterance automatically succeed in dispelling any magical barrier, alternatively it deal destroy any mundane wall of colossal size or smaller.</onlyinclude>


Psychic Halo

Casting time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Duration : 1 Round/Level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
Truespeak DC: 15

This utterance create a halo made of force, which float beside the truenamer until sent at a target creature as a move action. Once it has a target it follow it with a fly speed of 40 ft per round with clumsy maneuverability. If it meet the target it make a touch attack using your truenamer level + your Intelligence or Charisma modifier for it attack roll, if it hit it deal 2d8 + your Intelligence or Charisma modifier in magical slashing damage with a 20/x4 critical threat. The disc ignore DR (except DR/-) and hardness of less than 20.

Once it successfully strike it target it return to the truenamer who may send it again. Alternatively the truenamer may recall the disc prematurely or change it target with a move action. The disc may be attacked and has an AC of 18 and 3 hit points per truenamer level. If destroyed or if it impact a obstacle it cannot break it reappear next to the truenamer and it duration is lowered by 3 round.

Reverse: Instead of targeting a creature, the halo instead orbit the truenamer. It make an attack against all adjacent creatures at the start of each of the truenamer's turn. The truenamer may as a free action stop the disc, preventing it from striking an helpful ally.

Failure: On a failed truespeak check, the disc move at half speed and last half as long.

Augmentation: For each +5 you add to the truespeech DC increase the speed of the disc by 5 ft, alternatively you may increase it by +10 to increase it maneuverability by one step.

Primal Utterance[edit]

Normal: As long as you aim in the right square your soul lance cannot miss and deal double damage.

Reversed: The utterance deal full damage even on a successful save, on a failed save the affected creature are staggered for 1 round/level.</onlyinclude>
