Whenever a creature ends its movement within close range (25ft. +5ft./2 levels) you are aware of where it ended its movement (even if it is invisible, hiding, concealed, has cover, etc). If the creature is hiding at the end of its movement, you can only detect where it ended its movement if you beat its hide check with a sense motive check. This effect only extends to the plane you are currently on (so it does not apply to the plane of shadow or ethereal plane. You must also have line of sight to the creature (you won't detect burrowing creatures or creatures on the other side of a passage). If the creature does not move to a different square on its turn, it does not trigger this effect.
