If you have any idea feel free to share with me.
- Welcome. If you have any questions about anything (like formatting), ask away and someone will probably respond promptly and with fervor! Just, so much fervor. --Ganteka Future (talk) 23:53, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
Uploading Images[edit]
Uploading images is something I've gotta be a stickler about. Partly because we're already in a potential gray area for claiming fair use on stuff and partly because its just the nice, right thing to do. So, first off, check out our image policies page, its immensely helpful and is going to explain things better than I can in short-version mode here. The short version being "We always need stuff sourced, that is, a link or web address linking to the source file" and "reduce the image down when claiming fair use". Often, because of the white list for linking to other sites, most sites you'll be trying to link to will be blocked and you'll get a spam alert message or some such. There's a fairly easy work-around that basically turns your link into plain type (so people can copy/paste it into their browser instead of clicking it). It's the difference between seeing http://www.dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Dungeons_and_Dragons_Wiki:Image_Policies and http://www.dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Dungeons_and_Dragons_Wiki:Image_Policies
When you click the edit tab here, you'll see its as easy as adding the little nowiki markup before and after the link. These links and source attribution can be added at any time later by clicking the edit tab while on the image's page. This is of course, all being discussed because I noticed it missing on File:Werewolf.jpg. When you get a chance, go add it in. --Ganteka Future (talk) 16:18, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
