Vibrokinetic
A vibrokinetic is a psychic bard capable of manipulating vibration with her psychic abilities.
Class: Bard
Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Spellcasting (Altered), Inspire Competence
Benefit: A vibrokinetic gains the following abilities.
Spellcasting: A vibrokinetic is a psychic spellcaster instead of an arcane spellcaster. She adds all spells with the [sonic] descriptor from the sorcerer/wizard spell list to her bard spell list. If such a spell also appeared on the bard list, she uses whichever's spell level is lower.
However, she cannot select spells from the enchantment school or the healing subschool as spell known. The vibrokinetics also add the following spells to spell list, these spells gain the [sonic] descriptor and deal sonic damage when applicable: burst bond (1st), earth tremor (3rd), explode head (5th), and psychic crush I-II (5th-6th).
This ability alters the bard's spellcasting.
Bardic Performance: A vibrokinetic gains the following bardic performance.
Vibrokinetic Burst (Su): At 3rd level, the vibrokinetic may unleash a powerful blast of vibration. As a standard action, the vibrokinetic can spend a round of performance to create an effect that replicates the sound burst spell. Unlike the spell, this effect is due to extreme vibration and function in areas where sounds do not normally travel. A vibrokinetic may use vibrokinetic burst even while she is maintaining another performance. At 7th level, the sonic damage that is dealt by this vibrokinetic burst increases to 3d8. This damage further increases to 5d8 at 11th level, 7d8 at 15th level, and 9d8 at 19th level.
This performance replaces inspire competence.
Subsonic Performance: A vibrokinetic gain the Subsonic Performance feat as a bonus feat at 1st level.
