Vril rogues undergo a special training in drow communities, which makes them excellent sniper with crossbows.

A vril arbalist has the Knowledge (dungeoneering) skill, as class skill, instead of Knowledge (local). This is valid for all its rogue levels.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Vril arbalists gain proficiency with one additional kind of crossbow of their choosing, beside the standard rogue's proficiency.
Sniping Range: At 1st level, instead of Trapfinding, a vril arbalist can make sneak attacks at an increased distance, if using any kind of crossbow. Increase the 30 ft. (9 meters) range to 50 ft. (15 meters). This increase stacks with similar increases in sneak attack's range.
Rapid Reload: By level 2nd, instead of Evasion, an arbalist gains the Rapid Reload feat for free. If it already has it, choose another feat that improves ranged combat or the use of crossbows. It may choose Evasion as a special ability instead of Improved Evasion.
Caveskin (Ex): At level 3rd, instead of the Trap Sense feature, it gains Caveskin. This feature grants it a racial bonus on Hide checks made in caves and underground. It starts as a +1 and increases by one at level 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th and 18th, up to +6.
Climb and Hang (Ex): At 4th level, instead of Uncanny Dodge, a vril arbalist gains a climb speed equal to its land speed. It may stop itself while climbing to hang (even upside-down) by its strong legs and manipulate objects or wield weapons and attack while in this position. In any case it may not do the same while moving, unless the object it wields needs just one hand to be manipulated. It gains Uncanny Dodge when it would gain Improved Uncanny Dodge.
