Life exists everywhere, in every person, every blade of grass, and even in the essence of matter itself however faint. Monks of the Way of the Force seek out and feel the weave that binds and connects all life together, and through it become one with the world.

Dedicated Force Weapon[edit]

The 3rd level monk of the Way of the Force gains the optional Dedicated Weapon ability with the following modifications: they gain proficiency in one martial weapon of choice (typically the longsword), and they must choose one weapon type which is their dedicated weapon. When they level up, they may choose a different dedicated weapon. The dedicated weapon lights up in a color of your choice with light as bright as a torch. In addition you may deflect missiles with your dedicated weapon, including launching projectiles as if caught.

At 6th level, your dedicated weapon counts as magic.

At 10th level, your deflect missiles ability may now deflect magical projectiles such as fire bolt as if it were a mundane projectile. You can deflect anything with a spell attack roll, but not effects with a save DC or which automatically hit.

At 15th level, you may choose to transform your weapon damage into force damage.

Force Powers[edit]

At 3rd level, monks of the Way of the Force gain spellcasting as they channel the force. The table below shows how many spell slots you have to cast your way of the force spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher
You know one 1st-level spells of your choice from the way of the force spell list. The Spells Known column of the table below shows when you learn more way of the force spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 5th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level. Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the way of the force spells you know and replace it with another spell from the way of the force spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Spellcasting Ability
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your way of the force spells, since your magic draws on your attunement to the force. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a way of the force spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
