The Dark Empress' blade was said to be able to traverse through armor and shields like a ghost go through walls. It is not through it own power, but rather it wielder's mastery over the Bone Crown discipline.
As part of initiating this maneuver, make a single melee attack that is resolved as an incorporeal touch attack. If the attack hit it deal an extra 1d6 damage per initiator level (to a maximum of 15d6).
