A vicious looking bipedal aquatic creature, it look like a frog man except it mouth is filled with very long and sharp teeth. A deepbiter stand about 6'6 and weight around 400 pounds, despite being quite fat looking they are very muscular. Despite looking like a creature from the abyssal depth, the deepbiter is actually a shallow water predator. It wait close to beaches and shores of lake and attack passerby, dragging them into to their lair to eat. They are also known predator of sailor, attacking boats in large group, pray on merfolks, [[Atargaian (3.5e Race)|atargaian]] and [[Naiad (3.5e Race)|naiads]]. 

All deepbiter are hermaphroditic and while they can reproduce withe each other most don't bother. They lay clutches of egg coated in an acidic substance, burying prey underneath to slowly dies and be consumed to the last morsel of bone once the tadpole hatch. They are idiotic, cruel and solitary creatures, they do exhibit cleverness and willingness to work together in order to bring down a large prey, but that is rare.
 
Deepbiters do not speak but understand aquan.

=== Combat ===

A deepbiter will quickly attempt to overwhelms a single foe by biting it, grabbing with it slam and just gnaw on it until it dies. If faced by a group it will attempt to bring each member down, then finish them off later after it neutralize the threat. In group they usually divide preys somewhat evenly. If it brought below 20% it will attempty to flee by going back to the ocean, if pursued to it lair it will fight to the death.
