I don't agree with having all of the ability score bonuses on top of all the powers; I think dumping one in favor of the other (read: the powers should be kept at the expense of all the ability score changes, positive or negative). I also think the constant empathy still has a pretty good chance to shaft you (if your enemy has a bag of awakened rats, as it were), especially if you have to make a separate save for each suitably intelligent creature that dies, even in the same turn.

If you're afraid of having your friends complain that it's too strong, well, instantly getting the third round of Detect Thoughts might be a bit on the extreme side, in tense potentially pre-combat situations. This should probably be compared to Gray Elves. The thing you did with the extra arms is remarkably sane, I think; I wonder how it works with gloves and rings.

The racial traits section could be shorter, and the description sections could be longer.

I'm curious as to how a race with the gender balance of a pride of lions ends up being matriarchal.

tl;dr: The powers are OK, I just want to see the excess trimmed.

Looks like a great race to play out of the box. I like the fact that it offers out of combat abilities that won't break the game, but will certainly offer something new that other races don't.

A nice race that is neither overpowered nor underpowered with a psionic twist and some story hooks.
RatedNeutral.png DeeNoir is neutral on this article and rated it 2 of 4.
Might still need work, and seems to be a first time attempt at creating a race.
RatedNeutral.png Ghostwheel is neutral on this article and rated it 2 of 4.
Seems fine, the teleportation thing is interesting, but the flavor doesn't really draw me into the race.
RatedLike.png Eiji-kun likes this article and rated it 3 of 4.
From the ashes, it rises again. And honestly... I'm proud of you. Seriously. It's good now. Well, it needs some fluff text, but mechanically it is now sound. The fact it went from BIG NO to "hey not bad" brings it to Like status. Good job.
RatedLike.png Leziad likes this article and rated it 3 of 4.
Pretty much like Eiji, the dead links are a bit annoying though.

Teleport at will?

For a LA 0 race? Really? Really? --Leziad 10:12, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Since it's improved so, I put on OldRating markers since it IS pretty different now. -- Eiji-kun 12:22, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
