I've never really been a fan of the Flaw system. That said, this provides some set penalties (permanent Max Dex, check penalties) and situational DM counters that should work well to offset getting an additional feat... all while providing players some incentive to work around their character's deficiencies, you know, roleplaying.

Encumbrance

It doesn't actually add to the amount of stuff you are carrying, so the encumbrance doesn't hurt you at all if you are really carrying a medium or heavy load? Why would a Dwarf choose not to take this flaw? --Foxwarrior 20:52, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
