The reason for the Vassal of Bahamut, is yes, the great armor, but also the ability to cast divine spells at level 2 of that prestige class. this allows you to become a blade dancer from oriental adventures, which requires the ability to cast arcane or divine spells.

As is written, this build actually isnt valid, due to the fact that there is no way it can cast spells (only 1 level of Vassal of Bahamut, not the necessary 2)and therefore cannot get into the Blade Dancer Prestige Class.

Piercer Cloak (MIC 118)

900 gp and a swift action will allow you to (arguably) gain 2d6 damage to all of your attacks 3 times per day. I'm sure by level 20, this character could afford several of these cloaks and just swap them out each combat. --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 03:07, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Just wondering...

But why does the build use Vassal of Bahamut? I'm a bit confused as to what mechanical benefit it adds.--YX33A 13:44, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

light armor that gives +8ac before being enchanted.--NameViolation 17:21, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

+5 Weapon

The +5 damage from the weapon seems to have been left out of the equation (The total bonus damage is listed as +86, not +91).--Tavis McCricket 18:49, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Vassal of Bahamut

The reason for the Vassal of Bahamut, is yes, the great armor, but also the ability to cast divine spells at level 2 of that prestige class. this allows you to become a blade dancer from oriental adventures, which requires the ability to cast arcane or divine spells. As is written, this build actually isnt valid, due to the fact that there is no way it can cast spells (only 1 level of Vassal of Bahamut, not the necessary 2)and therefore cannot get into the Blade Dancer Prestige Class.
