He is the second oldest of the ill-fated order of archangels (the sabayoh) created by Rejiksson during The First and Last War against Exaka. He aided his brothers and sister in the attack on Exaka's fortress in Mesaba. After their victory at the end of the war, the sabayoh were to be put on trial to be judged by the remaining deities of the Sosha Genia to decide the fates of all great and powerful, and potentially dangerous, beings. As his trial neared, he saw other servants of war set off to their fates, being either subjugated, re-forged or sealed away as a prisoner for untold millenia to come. He grew fearful and escaped, quickly going into hiding and solitude. Astor, created with free will, felt he had every right to pursue his own freedom and fate.
Over the ages, he gradually turned to hate and resent his father. He trained and harnessed the control of his celestial power and attained Godhood, eventually transforming into a Sosha Orsa. Unlike his brother Nril, Astor is a great source of divine magic, which is why He is known as The Divine Fount. His magic, raw and primordial divine energy, continually restores his body, granting him divine invulnerability.
Incarnation
He appears as a youthful male humanoid of celestial grace, with pale skin and flowing white hair. Great ivory wings with feathers like blades sprout from his back and float about him gently. A constant, world weary expression haunts his face. Despite his gentle, disarmingly average features, an immeasurable aura flows about him, as if he were a star made of pure divine energy.
- Divine Fount: A wave of divine energy constantly flows out of his body, continually healing him and restoring his strength. This ability generates enough power to make him difficult for even the Sosha Genia to battle against. Though, this ability only protects himself.
- Fount Stream: Astor can focus his aura into a solid beam that rips through anything of less than Godly power.
Dogma
There is no need to be punished for your actions so long as you can avoid punishment for them. The world, and your continuing existence, shall punish you enough simply for the station you were born into.
Clergy and Temples
Astor keeps no active temples or clergy, and has no need for worshippers, but he will provide aid to those who do know of him and pray to him, so long as they don't draw too much attention to themselves.
Many prisoners will praise Astor.
