Could you explain the armor temp HP mechanic? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.242.124.71 (talkcontribs) at

You lose the listed amount from AC and twice to Reflex, and get temporary HP that refreshes each fight. Usually you take a 10% hit to AC and 20% hit to Reflex and gain 20% health overall. It's mostly for high-level games where damage is the primary thing that will kill you, rather than cheap spells and effects that just make you die straight up. --Ghostwheel 18:42, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Another question. Are feats like dodge completely useless in this system (considering that they would need to add a +4 bonus to even effect anything)? Can they be replaced with edge related feats? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.242.124.71 (talkcontribs) at
It's cumulative--so you if you can gain cumulatively from multiple feats or abilities that give you more, so if you gain +1 to +4 you gain +1, if you gain +5 to +8 you gain +2, and so on. Also, remember to sign your posts (like so: ~~~~). Out of curiosity, why do you ask? Planning on using it? I also made a charsheet for this system if you're interested. --Ghostwheel 01:47, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Yeah. I'm thinking about using it. My problem with +1 bonuses to AC working like that is that if you have to take dodge for prerequisites or something (or gain minor AC bonuses as class features), its absolutely worthless (not just weak), unless you engage in a whole bunch of dumpster diving, which does not seem like something you want to encourage. Maybe you could just cap it? Or have it only apply to rerolls from edge? --173.242.124.71 03:29, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Do you have Yahoo Messenger or anything similar? Would probably be easier to explain it that way :-) --Ghostwheel 03:35, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
Could you explain it here? --173.242.124.71 04:12, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
It's a bit complicated, but feel free to drop into our IRC chat channel if you like. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:43, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
