Keeping the math of the currency simple and usable for anyone to use. Besides currency in the 100/level is the standard for most of us any way right? 100 pennies to a dollar and all that.

Alternate Currencies

The thing is, alternate currencies already exist. Most characters carry around gems of untold value (which have intrinsic value because they can power spells). Just as an example, a diamond of enough value can power ressurection and the like, weighs almost nothing, and is worth 5,000 gold pieces, even more than what a gold piece in this variant equals. For what it's worth, there is also this. --Ghostwheel (talk) 23:36, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
