Keeping the math of the currency simple and usable for anyone to use. Besides currency in the 100/level is the standard for most of us any way right? 100 pennies to a dollar and all that. |
Alternate Currencies
The thing is, alternate currencies already exist. Most characters carry around gems of untold value (which have intrinsic value because they can power spells). Just as an example, a diamond of enough value can power ressurection and the like, weighs almost nothing, and is worth 5,000 gold pieces, even more than what a gold piece in this variant equals. For what it's worth, there is also this. --Ghostwheel (talk) 23:36, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
