Talk:Calculated Shot (3.5e Feat)

RatingsEdit

DanielDraco dislikes this article and rated it 1 of 4.
Replacing one stat with another in attack rolls is a really generic and common effect and is best handled with a generic feat. I would oppose if this did not also have a unique effect, but even that unique effect is very unexciting and hardly useful.

I think it's to emulate the sniper looking out the window of a building to get the perfect shot on the dictator of some country in his limo. --Ghostwheel (talk) 18:39, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Insert "OMG JFK died" joke here. --Luigifan18 (talk) 03:24, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

ClarificationsEdit

If it takes you one minute mathematically calculation how to hit the person where he is and he moves do you have to start over? Aiming always needs dexterity. How can you shoot if your hand wont go where you want it?--Parakee 01:11, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

"While lining up the shot, you can undertake move actions so long as your attention stays focused on the target..." By that statement, I would think that if you can move, your opponent would be able to move too, as long as you have focus. --Havvy 02:26, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, Sometimes I miss things, Ill work on not making stupid mistakes(I mean it). Parakee 02:54, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Actually, the text of this feat is extremely vague...and I went with interpretation. I'll ask DaTedinator to re-look at it. --Havvy 03:09, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
