| The flavor is great. Comparing to a half-giant (LA +1), this seems to fall short by a bit. I think Half-giants fall short by a bit too! Maybe I'm undervaluing reach, but there just doesn't seem to be much uniqueness going for this race besides that it is a smart tough guy. |

Overhaul Time?[edit]
I best chime in. I really think this race could do with a couple things.
- Racial HD instead of LA. Though, converting 1 LA into 2 RHD minimizes some character options by eating another level, it's still straight playable at ECL 2.
- It's needed some sort of ability that's unique to it and stays useful at all levels since it was adopted. I missed the ball on that one. Still no ideas on what this ability should be.
- Supposedly, the core of this when I adopted it, was based on some fictional race from a book called Old Man's War. I actually intend to make it less like whatever it's source was, since I'm not familiar with it. I might go as far to change the name a bit to reflect this difference as well.
