Final Rites [Grim] Prerequisites: Grim Transformation, Knowledge (religion) 18 ranksBenefit: When you kill a target (typically by reducing it to -10 hit points or 0 for undead and constructs), you place Final Rites upon them, a curse-like supernatural effect that prevents them from returning to the Material Plane. That target may not be raised from the dead or employ planar travel unless the caster who attempts to resurrect them makes a caster level check (1d20 +caster level) against your grim level + your Wisdom modifier. Final Rites can only be removed with a limited wish, wish, miracle or similar effect. Special: The barred creature may not employ astral projection, blink, dimension door, ethereal jaunt, etherealness, gate, maze, plane shift, shadow walk, teleport, teleportation circle and similar spells, spell-like or psionic abilities as well barring raise dead, reincarnate, resurrection, true resurrection and similar spells, spell-like or psionic abilities that restore dead creatures to life (or undeath).
