Low - Moderate - Sustained by Shadow [Spelltouched] You linked your life to the plane of shadow or a similar power, causing your body to no longer need any sustenance. However the link also made you weak to sunlight.Prerequisites: Must have been exposed to a shadow walk spell.Benefit: You are sustained by shadowy essence, you are no longer required to breath, eat, drink or sleep to survive, although you may do so if you wish. You gain darkvision out to 60 feet, or increase any existing darkvision by 60 feet. Finally while not under direct sunlight you gain Fast Healing 1, or improve greater sources of fast healing by 1.
However you newfound link with the shadow make your vulnerable, you gain daylight blindness (as a Drow), if you already had it you instead become blinded for 1d4 rounds. In addition, exposure to direct sunlight cause you discomfort and pain, each round you are exposed to direct sunlight you take 1 point of damage which cannot take you below 0 hit point. You cannot heal damage caused by sunlight until you return to shadowy illumination or lower.
Special: You may use a cape, a hat or other type of clothing to prevent the damage dealt by exposure to direct sunlight outside of combat situations, however in combat these items become easily displaced and thus take damage every round as normal.
