Talk:3.5e Mundane Weapons
F"or"ce
Template:3.5e Mundane Weapon appears to be converting "Force" into "F, ce". Figured I'd point this out. --Ganteka Future 23:19, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Cluttered?
So it's been brought to my attention that some may think the list cluttered. Should we/can we split it up like feats, so you go to the Simple, Martial, Exotic, and Unclassified categories for smaller tables? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 05:13, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
Technology Level
So, the weapons list is long, and there are a lot of things in it that aren't necessarily useful for... screw the intro. Dividing things out by technology level would be nice. The DMG has precedent for it already, but the divisions are clunky. So, the DMG has Stone Age, Bronze Age, Renaissance, Modern and Future. They actually leave out "Default" as an option, so I don't really have a name for that other than perhaps General, Standard, Default, Medieval... eh, not really sure what's best to use there.
Changing over to this would involve updating the template and manually filling in the property on every article, but it may be worth it and be super helpful for people to find what they're looking for better. We could trim up the categories a bit, perhaps Primitive (Stone and Bronze Age), Medieval (Default), Industrial (Renaissance) and Advanced (Modern and Futuristic) or some such thing. I guess articles could have multiple placements in the system as well, since things like spears could be both Primitive and medieval. Some community input and brainstorming on this would be helpful. I certainly don't mind doing some legwork and updating articles if we go through with a system. --Ganteka Future (talk) 18:01, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
