There was something wrong with the rogue. Yes, he was standing there after taking a fatal blow, but that wasn't the problem. The thing there wasn't him... and you swear you saw something move under his skin!
You return a creature which has died within the last day/caster level to the living. The corpse must be intact enough to create a zombie and must be from a formerly living creature, but otherwise has no restrictions. They come back with the pseudonaturalCA template, full hp, and are under your direct command with all of their abilities and class features they had in life. If addressed they will claim to be the person they were, but something is clearly off about their voice and behavior. At the end of the duration, they erupt into a pile of slime, tentacles, or other horrifying lovecraftian things and their bodies are sucked into the Far Realm.
Unwilling creatures get a Will save to negate. A successful save renders them immune to further castings of this spell.
