Cling On [Fighter, Tactical]
It's not coming off...Prerequisites: Clever WrestlerCW or Improved Grapple or Grab special abilityBenefit: You gain several tactical uses as shown below.
- Backpack Buddy: You can grapple willing creatures one size larger than you or bigger, and neither you no your ally is considered grappled. You are treated as riding a mount without a saddle. If you take no actions in a round other than to hold on, then you are counted as part of their equipment (and thus are not also targeted by area of effects). You can be removed from your ally with a successful bull rush, disarm (with you at a -4 penalty), or opposed grapple check against you.
- Climbing Irons: If you would fall due to a failed Climb check, you instead merely make no progress.
- Nimble Grappler: Creatures making ranged attacks into a grapple only have a 20% chance of striking you, instead if 50%.
- Stuck Whether You Like It Or Not: Grappling creatures cannot willingly release you from a grapple if you do not choose to. They must make a successful grapple check as a standard action on their turn to end the grapple even if they are in control of the grapple.
