This spell restores all lost hit points (to a maximum of 500) and wipes away all magical and nonmagical disease, nonlethal damage, vile damage, blindness, deafness, poisons, nausea, temporary and permanent ability damage and ability drain, curses and petrification, mind-affecting effects, and any magical and supernatural control-impairing effects.
Complete restoration wipes away all harmful spells, spell-like abilities, powers, psi-like abilities, and other special ability components and special ability component-like abilities that are currently active on the target. The spell removes any and all unfavorable conditions such as stunning, bleeding, paralysis, fatigue, and exhaustion, but not things resulting from circumstance like flat-footedness, being physically entangled, or being engaged in a grapple. It restores any permanent drain or negative levels suffered by the target within the last year. Complete restoration can even restore Constitution or level loss due to death.
Any effect that can be removed by remove curse, greater restoration, break enchantment, heal, and any other lower-level healing spell that removes any sort of negative effect is also removed by complete restoration, except for death.
The spell works oppositely on undead, causing utter destruction if the undead fails a Will saving throw. A successful save instead deals 15d6 points of positive energy damage.
Material Component: Bone dust belonging to a perished saint, valued in at 5,000 gp.
