Crafting Mastery [General, Skill]
Your mastery of crafting becomes more evident as you train and grow your skills.
Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Disable Device.
- 0 ranks: You can use the Disable Device skill to craft technology that mimics magical items. The item is non-magical, which means that it functions in anti-magic. The DC to mimic a magic item is 15 + the caster level required to enchant that item.
- 4 ranks: The time required to craft any item is reduced by one step (days to hours, hours to minutes, minutes to rounds). The minimum time to craft an item is always a full round.
- 9 ranks: you can now craft technology that mimics Wondrous Items. The DC to mimic a wondrous item is 20 + the caster level required to craft the item + the bonus grabbed by the item, if it has multiple options (example: The DC to craft a +1 Amulet of Mighty Fists is 26; 20 + CL 5 + 1. The DC for a +5 Amulet of Mighty Fists would be 30).
- 14 ranks: The time required to craft any item is reduced by one additional step.
- 19 ranks: You can now craft technology that mimics artifacts. The DC to mimic any artifact is 35 + the caster level required to craft the artifact.
