Deathgates
saidar, saidin, True Power (Earth, Fire, Spirit)
Prerequisites: Traveling, level 11
Minimum Cost: 15
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Effect: One pair of deathgates per 15 points of energy
Duration: Sustain
Saving Throw: Reflex negates
Spell Resistance: Yes


Some vertical lines appear on the battlefield, quickly expanding to rectangles which hurtle around the battlefield, teleporting hapless victims from one place to another. Aberrations do not survive the journey.

You create one pair of deathgates per 15 points of energy you spend to create this weave. Each deathgate then moves 30' in any direction. Any creature that the deathgate collides with must make a Reflex save or be transported through to the other deathgate in the pair at the same point in that deathgate's journey. Aberrations that are transported through the deathgate die.

Deathgates occupy a 5' space, and disappear if they are ever out of range.

Sustain: Sustaining Deathgates is a move action at the cost of 5 points per pair of gates to sustain the gates for 1 more round, and move each gate by 30' in a straight line.
